New to ASP..server query.

Hi,

This may seem such a basic question...for which I apologise.
I want to delve into the world of asp..and produce a simple data driven website using Dreamweaver ultradev 4.
The fist steps tell me I need a personal web server to view the pages...I am using Windows ME...which it says does not have the personal web server.
What do I do?.

you can visit somewhere like

http://www.tucows.com

and download servers to use, but you will need to find one that handles asp

Try going to

Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs --> Windows Setup

and look for pws there.

If you don't find it, then do a find on your local hard drive for:

pws or personal web server

And follow the instructions that you find.
