When I started using Access, someone pointed me to the Access Developers Handbook. Any suggestions here for API books which explain them a little bit.

Thanks!

Have a great day!

Dan Appleman's Visual Basic Programmer's Guide to the Win32 API (ISBN 0-672-31590-4) is a very good reference for the Windows API.

If you choose to battle wits with the witless be prepared to lose.

I will ditto Foada's suggestion and will also suggest searching the web for examples to VB and the API. You will find a couple of VB Rings and should run across allapi.net (this is there new address...).

Good Luck

Thanks to both of you for responding.
