Im creating a report form, but have a problem getting it to do what I want it to,
1) when I press a toggle button, Id like a field to appear on the form ie, the button "report a problem" when pressed makes a text box appear.
Ultimately, i wanted it to open a new form where the text box appears, but when adding the new record it wouldnt combine the data from both forms and save it onto one record. This is what I would prefer but, if it isnt possible the first option will do.
Second problem,
My Report is going to be used by other people in my office, and since this report is to be updated once daily, Id like the form to only add the new record once a day using the date as the variable. ie if the record was added on 3-april-01, no matter how many times you add a new record during that day only the first will be recorded. This would be to protect double entry.
Finally This report will be printed out once every 6 days (my working week) thus I need my report to only show 6 days worth of records. Ideally after 6 days, after the report is printed, it becomes blank again for the next week, but still storing everything its saved.
I hope some of this makes sense to you, if not Ill try and rephrase it.
