Being new to Microsoft Access, I'll be looking for a wee bit guidance from you more experienced "Accessors" in the coming years!

So, I'll kick-off by asking for any recommendations of good books on Access.

Cheers

the complete idiot's guide to microsoft access 2000 by Joe Habraken. also, almost any college textbook on access would be helpful.

"The Access Developers Handbook" is a very good resource. It's available for both Access 97 and Access 2000, and will probably be out for Access 2002 reasonably soon. But it does assume some knowledge of Access.

A good basic book is"Access for Dummies". It starts with the basics and gives a good grounding in Access for first-time users. My copy is for Access Version 2, but I know there are editions for Access 97 and Access 2000
