Hello,

I just installed a W2003 server and am not getting any network connections to show up. The network cards don't appear in device manager at all. I do get green LEDs when I connect a patch cable, but no activity of course.

I wasn't sure if this was a securoty thing with W2003 server or if it may be something as simple as I need to download drivers for my servers on board LAN connections.

I think its more than likely a driver issue. Are you seeing any unknown devices in device manager? If not is it possible the NIC's are disabled in the BIOS?

No luck in DM or in BIOS. It's an Intel SR1450 server.

If it's new, contact the vendor for support.

Good luck,

It's a driver issue - with no drivers installed during Windows Setup then you'll have no adapters show up in Network Connections and probably errors or unknown devices in Device Manager.
