I was messing around with an Aspect script to rebuild my dialing directory (which is huge and often gets corrupted) and found that I could not set the modem baud settings for the entry using the script (which is very frustrating, considering that I have over 100 entries)... but I found a neat little way around that. The way I did it was to choose my modem connection from the quick select line, then manually set the default baud rate for the modem by going to "Options>System Options>Modem Connection>Modem Connection Properties". Then I wrote a script to add all of the entries that use that baud rate. I run the script and all of the entries are set up with the connection and baud that I defined. In this way, I was able to add my 120-some entries without manually setting the baud for each one!
Oh yeah... I have only tried this on one system... Win2k SP4 with Procomm Plus v.4.8
Thought this might be helpful!
