New tape device to BE 9.0

Uninstall Backup Exec from it's current server (including any agents). Then reinstall once you hook up the new tape library.
Why? BE 'knows' it has one license and that license is in use for the original tape device (library). Now you are adding a (in BE's 'eyes') second tape device (library). Do you have a second license? No, because at the end of the install you still only have one tape device (library). But BE doesn't know this.

You should use the Veritas Drivers. Your dirve is tested by Veritas ( and will work without problems when you use the newest driver release from support.veritas.com.
