We recently upgraded to the SV8500 and I have had some issues with calls sounding distorted almost mechanical. Has anyone heard of any issues like this and what is causing it and what can I do to correct it?

Try switching over to the standby time division side if you are redundant, and test it. It could be an INT card or a switch setting (clocking). Your post does not indicate if you have a single stack or multiple stacks. That information will point you to either SW-10 cards or CK-16/20 cards in the highway module. If you can narrow it down to a PIM, try the PC-36 cards.

Is this a pure IP solution or did you install the PIR's? or PIM's as the 2400 world is concerned!
