I want to get a sparc 64 bit system for
1. Learning
2. Eventually setting up a ftp, apache server. Nothing major, but it will go live eventually.
My question is, do you think that is a good deal?
Well I have in my house a old SparcStation 5, when I recently check the price on the Sun Blade 100, I think it cold be a very good deal to have a 64 bit Sparc system at home, it uses normal PC SDRAM, and PC IDE 7200 Rpm drives so it's easy and cheap to get a good upgrade for, also mouse and keyboard is USB, and more USB devices will be supported in future, so in my "personal" so it could be a good choice for a cheap Sparc home system.
