I have added a new subsciber into a 4.1.3 cluster. Everything works fine, the phones register OK and dont lose any function. However I cannot log into DC directory on the subsriber which in turn means I can not log onto the CCMAdmin page also.

I have checked host files and both can ping each other by name. The SQL replicaion is working fine but the DC Directory is causing me a huge headache.

I have rebuilt the subsciber but have the same issue

Any help would be greatfully appreciated

Also check the lmhost file and make sure that the address to the publisher is map to the name. Run dblhelper, under cisco/bin, to ensure the dbase replication is good and no jobs are on hold.

The following link will help you troubleshoot this issue

Stay cool; it’s not over yet!

You used the same DC Directory password used on the publisher when you built the software on the new subscriber, correct...?

I have it working. Backed up the datbase and run the following command

reconfig_cluster

Thanks for you help

Did the link I posted helped at all?

yes. but i had to follow the instructions for datbase over 100MB. I tried doing it normal way using just the reconfig_cluster cmd but this did not work

thanks

There is never a straight forward solution with Cisco. I'm glad you're working fine now.
