Hi. I changed ISP recently and had to uninstall my previous version of Slipstream dial-up accelerator and install their new version. Now, my download speed on executables/zips is down to around 4-4.5 KB/s from around 6.1 KB/s. I must have been getting hardware compression before - possibly this is being disallowed by my server. However, I have a very good line and connect at 52Kbps. HTML downloads are working as expected with accelerator software.

TCP/IP should be optimized using same settings with Cablenuts Adjuster. One thing, though - I notice two new subkeys in TCP->Parameters: CMPRedirect and CMPRedirects.

I should be able to get a higher d/l throughput, even without hardware compression. Anyone have a hint?

Thanks.
