MORNING,
I've never installed SIP on an IPO, is a VCM card needed? I have all digital phones at this site and 10 Lic for SIP. The vendor is using a session border controller. I have a copy of the cfg if that helps.

You need VCM channels any time a TDM resource needs to communicate with an IP resource.

If you need to be asking this question here then I would suggest you do not have the necessary skill to complete this request.

Yes you need VCM of some description (VCM32 or a combo card)
VCM channels have not been licensed since V6.0 you only need the SIP Trunk Licences.
