I haven't been able to find an answer to my dilemma exactly yet. The situation is that we want to install Sharepoint Services (not Portal) on a new 2003 server. We have another server that will be hosting 2 web pages and a 3rd server that will be hosting Exchange and OWA access.
My questions are:
1) Will we have to configure the existing websites with another port other than 80 because Sharepoint won't 'listen' on another port?
2) Will configuring the Sharepoint and Websites with separate IP's externally provide the correct access through the firewall with the appropriate access rules?
3) Will it matter what version of IIS the other server is running?
I hope someone is able to shed some light on the subject... Thanks
