need to setup a test lab. basic criteria is need 2 frontend app boxes and a clustered database backend. this system must be replicated to another room on same site.

although it needs to be highly available it isnt a true production environment. costs wouldnt stretch to the likes of clarions - so looking at something like an md3000 shelf in each room - and then something like a dell r710 with say 64gb - or 128gb running esx.

is this feasible with vmware or anyone got any recommendations
