Hi guys ....

i think this is an easy question .. but i don´t remember how to solve this ...

currently i have no free ip addresses in my dhcp ip pool ...
due to this i wanna add a new scope ...the _full_ scope was 192.168.5.

now i want to assign the 192.168.6.xxx scope to the workstations ..
but i don´t remember exactly how to do ....

I´ve inserted a new scope on my windows Nt 4 dhcp server with all the entries ... but there is no assignmment of this new ip-scope to our workstations ...

can you help me out ???

Thanks a lot

e5tom make sure that your subnet mask accomodates for adding a second subnet. If your mask is set at 255.255.255.0, you wil not be able to use both subnets. If this the case you will have to also update your router (assuming you are on a WAN) with the new mask also.
