New SBS with E2000

We had a Nt4 SBS with E5.0 that crashed and burned so we bought a new server with SBS 2000 and E2000. Now we only use it for inhouse mail not internet Email, and we only have 10 users. I added all the users and in profiles it shows them as having a domain address in Exchange but when I go into Exchange manager and click on users, there are none. in 5.0 I could see all the users. I'm confused.

In exchage2000 you can see just user mailboxes, user logons public folders, not users. Everything is in Active Directory.
