Hi,

I want to creat a new RLB in LD 86.
After entering the Route Number it tells me the error ESN030
"Route does not exist or exists but has no members"

What kind of Route is missing here? And how and where can I create it?

thx in advance

Go lto ld 21 and try to print that route. If it is not built, then add it.

RLB in LD 86.

so your pointing to a rdb that has no members.. in 86 you have to point to working rdb... so if your adding a new route data block, it has to go in prior to sending numbers to it..

are you adding trunks?

thx for the quick response...

I will try to create a RDB in LD 16

thx

The "order" to do things is this:

1. Identify Needs
2. Lock Switchroom door from inside
3. LD 16 Create Route
4. LD 14 Create Trunks
5. LD 87 Verify NCTL (NCOS to FRL)
6. LD 10/11 Verify/Change NCOS of phones
7. LD 86 Create DMI/Digit Manipulation if needed
8. LD 86 Create Route List
9. LD87 or LD90 - Create or change CDP (87) or SPN/NPA/NXX (90) numbers to point to Route List
10. Take break, return to find complaints.

I'm guessing your using element manager? If so then there is an old route in the programming that has no members,or an entry that refers to a route that has no members, it has nothing to do with what your trying to add but it pops up when EM tries to validate the programming.
Look through your Entry 0,1,2etc and see if you can find reference to a route that either doesn't exsist or has no members :)

First of all: Thanks for all your responses.

I'm getting closer...Still getting the ESN030
"Route does not exist or exists but has no members"

I createt the Route. So that should not be the problem.

My next question: How do I add members to a Route?

thx in advance

Do Step 4 below.

1. Identify Needs
2. Lock Switchroom door from inside
3. LD 16 Create Route
4. LD 14 Create Trunks
5. LD 87 Verify NCTL (NCOS to FRL)
6. LD 10/11 Verify/Change NCOS of phones
7. LD 86 Create DMI/Digit Manipulation if needed
8. LD 86 Create Route List
9. LD87 or LD90 - Create or change CDP (87) or SPN/NPA/NXX (90) numbers to point to Route List
10. Take break, return to find complaints.

I get the feeling a route and trunks already exists somewhere, and you are wondering why you have to create them all over.

If you can dial out, then at least one route exists.

Routes are the containers for Trunks. Trunks are TNs that connect you to the outside world.

Find out what you have first - start here:

Thanks GHTROUT for your inputs...

I'll go and find out...

Just for the records: I am NOT a PBX specialist...
just a user that develops the Software in Switzerland called "Atiras" ( that manages the PBX thru a GUI.

My actual Problem is: I want to write a DSC in LD 87 on one PBX in a UNP-Network. Then the following errors comes out: "Undefined Route List Index".

So I tried to create a RLB in LD 86, and there is where the error ESN030 appears.

So...now you know my (whole) story :)

And again...thx for your support

is the number your assigning to the new rlb above the max number of rlb's you've set.. or, the command change then anew number will always give you there error..

not a lot of help with the gui, guess that's one reason that rls 7 kills the gui

the number I'm assigning is within the range for rlb's.

I try to create a RLB. But Routenumber iwant to enter is not valid (--> ESN030)
That's why I asked if have to create a RDB first...

I did create a new RDB in LD 16.
Now I have to add member to this RDB. As I read I have to do this by adding Trunks in LD 14.

I will try to do this...
