New Responsibility is not Displaying

I have assigned a user with a new responsibility. After he logs out, clears cache, and logs back in the responsibility does not display. I have even cleared the web server cache using the Functional Admin resp. Any thoughts or suggestions as to why the new resp does not show up?

I believe we need some clarification here.


In the Oracle World, the nearest thing to a "responsibility" is a "role". Is this what you are speaking of? Please post the Oracle SQL code that you executed to "assign a new responsibility". BTW, Granting of an Oracle role is "permanent" until a user with administrative privileges either drops the role or revokes a user's membership in the role.
