New Record Updates Table 1

I have a form with a combo box on, I am woundering if there is a way to add any new entries that are not in my referance table to the table, without having to go out to the table and add and back to the form.

I don't quite understand what you are asking for.. is your combo box based off of another table and you are wanting to add values to it? Please give some more information. -Dustin

My combo box gives a choice of names from a table. It also allows entry of any new names into the combo box field because there is at present no validation. I am woundering if there is a way of adding new names to my names table automatically. Hope this is a better explanation.

Download this mdb. It has a good range of combo box tricks, including a couple which will add new records to bound tables upon a NOT_IN_LIST event.
