Is there a tool that will allow me to copy all settings (outlook profiles, internet favorites)from one profile to another? I am not talking about programs because I know they must be installed seperately. What I really need is a way to copy my outlook profile over instead of recreating it.
Thanks

If you are using an Exchange email account all of your email settings are stored on the Exchange Server I believe. Check these out....

Maybe this will work:

1. Right-click My Computer and go to Properties

2. Click the Advanced tab

3. Click the Settings button under "User Profiles"

4. You can select the user's windows profile that you want to copy, and select Copy to

5. Click the Browse button to select the destination profile listed under C:\Documents and Settings

6. Under "Permitted to Use", make sure you have the user's name added so they have access, and click OK

Keep in mind that this copies the user's registry, documents, and settings. The desktop and other custom looks within programs like Internet Explorer will carry over as a result.

F.A.S.T Wizard will let you pick and choose what to transfer. Check it out and see if it is granular enough for what you want.

Right, if the profile is on a different computer, then you'll want to use the F.A.S.T. wizard instead. My instructions work if you want to copy the entire profile to another on the same PC. Because registry settings could be different, you wouldn't want to use that method to copy a profile over the network to another PC.
