Hello,

When we set up our citrix farm (4) whe created policies for the printers etc...

Now when I create a new profile it's all good but when I logon with the user I applied the policy too I see no change.

Does anybody now what's wrong?

Hello,

I'm sorry in stead of profile i ment policy ofcourse

I guess (4) is the same as a PS 4.0 farm?
Review your filter settings for your policy to make sure it is actually assigned to your users.

Another way doing this is to use the search function and then do a RSOP (resultant set of policy) to see which policies that is in effect for a particular user or client.

Remember there could also be other policies overriding the settings in your new policy.

Hey Tuliphead :)

Thanks for the tip, it's very handy (didn't now the feature) but my problem isn't solved, the problem is that every new policy I create doesn't have any affect. Can you help me please?

Wim

I will give an example,

I added a new policy for my own user with 1 printer in the policy, when I do a search i see the resultant and there are all the printers including the one from the new policy.
But when i start up an application or even a full desktop the printer is nowhere to be seen.

Does anyone experienced this before?
