I am very new to Cisco PIX firewalls and asked to help a customer gain access from one LAN in their office to another - all through a PIX firewall version 6.
They have one set of clients on a 10.77.77.xx IP group and are needing to gain management access to some equipment off a switch directly connected to the PIX in an IP range of 192.168.20.x.
At this point they cannot even ping a pingable device on 192.168.20.1 from any of the 10.77.77.xx clients. Their routes look fine and they can access the Internet just fine - but nothing routing from those two networks.
I'm sure a simple step that is being missed in their setup?
