I just built a new computer. It's a AN19E 1stMainboard motherboard with a AMD XP 2200. I have almost the same parts running in another one I just built. When I put this one together though, it won't turn on. At first the Power LED would come on but now it won't even do that. I've checked and secured all the power and drive connections and I can't figure out what I'm missing. The case came with a 350w power supply so i don't think its a faulty p.s. I'm sure it must be something small i'm overlooking. Any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

Thanks for any help!
Bret

If you still have the other computer try swapping parts. Power supply first. Also check for shorts. Read the other posts on this problem, this has been answered many times and the steps are the same for all.

Fan on CPU must be plugged in to fan header.
MB might be shorting out.
Power supply may be bad.

Try
Reseating motherboard attached CPU,memory, video card, drives.

Normally it is grounding or power supply.
