Hi,

I have been making several changes to my website over the last week or so. So far none of these pages are showing up when I browse to them. However once on the said page if I press F5 to refresh I get the new version. Problem is the next time I go to the page I still get served up the old page.

I have tried various ways to try and fix this but no joy yet. Could this be an issue with my Apache Server? Could it need restarted, the cache cleared or something like this? I 'm just looking for some advice here as I am not that clued up on these issues(obviously).

Many Thanks for any tips you have,

Hi

At first glance seems to be a proxy problem. Beside this, could be a timestamp problem, if the client and server machines time differs and your browser use only HTTP/1.0, or HTTP/1.1 poorly implemented.

You did not mention about proxy and browser, neighter the type of your documents ( static HTML, or dynamic Perl, PHP, etc ). Please give us more detail. Until then, I can say only that is the less possible to be an Apache problem.

Feherke.

I agree with feherke. Apache knows nothing of your F5 key. I would suspect proxy cache.
