1. How do I break a next page based on State change, {SYSCUST.STATE}.

2. I would like to add the state field ontop as a header document but to print only when there is a change of state.

Please help.

The easiest way to handle that is to create a group on the state. Once you have inserted a group based on the state field you will control the page break in the Section Expert.
To get to the section expert click the group header area in the gray area on the left side of the report. Right click group header and select format section/section Expert When the section expert opens it should have selected the group header. At the New Page Before option click the x-2 button. This opens the formula window. Now you will need to tell Crystal when not to generate the page break. Type the following:
Not OnFirstRecord (there are no spaces in OnFirstRecord)

Save and close the formula and click OK on the section expert.

Now the new page will be generated for each state except for the first one.

If you want the column headings to appear below the state name place them in the group header section below the group name (state in this example)
