I am using Seagate crytsal report version 7. I have created a Financial summary statement report. What it shows is Client name and address, then the account number down below, then the clients transactions. A client may however have three accounts. So therefore, my question is I need to show all his accounts and transactions on one page if possible, then I should have a page break and show the next client, all his/her accounts and transactions. Also, if a client has to many accounts to fit on one page, I don't want part of his transactions to go on the next page, I want crystal to take that account and put his transcations on the next page if possible. Is there any formula that can do this? Is is possible in crystal 7.0? Thanks people and great forums.

Group by Person and then Account Number. In the group options of the Account Number check off "Keep Group Together". In the section expert, put a page break (new page after) with the Group Footer of the person. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting

Hi Ken,

Thanks for your reply. This doesn't seem to be working. Maybe I should give you more info. I have 3 groups now. 1)Client name 2)Account Number 3)Payment id. This is what I need. Say for instance, client Joe Smith has three account Numbers associated to him. I need those three account numbers with there respective payment id's on one page. Each account number has payments associated with them. I do not want three accounts associated to Joe Smith to show up on 3 separate pages. If he has too many account numbers to fit on one page then I need the system to understand that if there are too many accounts to fit on one page, put it on another page. I hope this is clear, if not let me no. Thanks Ken.

My instructions would give you a page break after the person, not he account. The "new page after" would be for GF1.

However you also said that if all 3 accounts didn't fit on one page, that you wanted a WHOLE account to go to the next page, not part of it. This is why your Group 2 should have the "keep group together" checked. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting
