I have a new WindowsME workstation and a new copy of MS OUTLOOK XP. It is the only computer on the network that will not see the exchange server. On the other versions of Outlook you could browse for the server but on the new XP it asks for the name of the server instead. We have tried every known combination but it still refuses to see the exchange server folder called wgpo0000. The same workstation is on the network just fine and can do everything else without any problems. Anyone have this occur and if so what is the fix??? Keith Buchanan

If you are running an Exchange Server and are trying to connect it make sure you type the Name of the Exchange Server not the MS Mail Workgroup name, (Server01 or what ever name you named it, right click on network neighboorhood on the server and you should be able to see the name and domain)

Have you tried using the ip address of the Exchange server instead of the server name? Can you successfully ping the server name? If not try adding a lmhosts entry for the Exchange server.
