New office - need help

Hello,

Im having a few problems with the best way to go to setup a satellite
office. We are opening a new location and I have purchased and built a new
server for this location. A permanent VPN connection will be put in place to
provide connectivity between the sites. One network will sit on 192.168.100.0
and the other will be 192.168.101.0

That being said, what would my best approach be? Create a new domain and
setup trusts between the domains? create a child domain? One issue is that
all of the users located in the new office already have active directory
accounts as they logon to citrix and our sharepoint servers. I would prefer
to not have to start them from scratch. Any ideas would be great. Thx

MS recommends 1 domain 1 forest if possible.

just go in sites and services and create a site for each offices. Then you get much better control of which traffic moves about.
