Does anyone know how to create a new object from nodes selected within an object? Or copy the nodes? For instance, if I have a complex object containing dozens and dozens of nodes and curves, etc....and want to reproduce only a part of that object for use as another object, is there a way of doing this without duplicating the object an having to delete the parts I don't want? Thanks in advance for any help.

Bobby,

If you hit the 'Subtract Subpath' button with the nodes selected it will seperate them from the rest of the object.

To copy part of an object rather than seperate it I Subtract (as above), copy the subtracted piece, undo (to reverse the seperation) and than paste.

This is the only way I know how to do it, if anyone has a better way I love to know.

Hope tht helps out a bit.
Clayton.

Thanks for the reply....but where is the "Subtract Path" command....I may be missing it, but I can't locate it.

Nevermind...........I found it. "Extract Subpath" in Corel 9. Thanks a bunch. You've really made my day.
