Hipath 4000 V6

I have a PRI connection from CO. They are porting a new number to me across the PRI, (783799). All DIDs come to me with 7 numbers, and the hipath strips the first character. (ie, they send me 9783145, and my system drops the 9)

I want to set it up exactly the same as the incoming number 783176 is set up. Is there an easy way to just copy the exact setup of 783176? Can I do a regen and make a few changes?

I'm beginner on AMO commands, but I am very good with the assistant. :-D

Assuming it's a digital or IP phone you should be able to do this using Expert mode.

REG-SBCSU for the station you want to copy, copy that result into the clipboard, and then paste it into the command area of Comwin. Then change the extension number and PEN you want it assigned to and press Enter at the end. That will create the new extension. To get everything you would also have to REG- ziel, sdat, and maybe a few other things. Usually after I create the station the first thing I do is go into assistant and put a check mark in the "key system" box on the Basic1 tab because I don't know how to do that any other way.

It said it was done, but didn't give you the line of code used to create the station?

Oh wait - I just noticed....

REG-SBCSU:783176;

You want to regen the already existing station and then copy the resulting code it spews out to the command line, change extension number and pen number to your new ones and you should be good for a start.

The new station doesn't exist yet, so it won't return anything.
