Hi,

Today I found a new type of NIU2 (ROF 137 5396/12) R1A with 4 RJ45 ports on it in a new MX-one TSW system.

does anyone know, how this board is connecting to the laptop/pc? i mean the pin out for rj45 to rs232? or is it use straight LAN cable to the LAN port of computer? if yes, then what is the default IP address to communicate with the system?

thanks in advance.

Hi,
It has the new cable (TSR 432 149/5000) for port 1,2 & 3 (V.24). One end is RJ45 to NIU12 and the other is 9 pin to pc com port direct.
The lowest port is LAN port that connect to network with RJ45 LAN cable. Except the interfaces, the rest are same as NIU2.
rgds,

thanks idoido.

let me trace out the cable in the warehouse.

can we use cisco console cable (light blue color cable) instead of the above said cable (TSR 432 149/5000)
