According to CompTIA the new Network+ exam will be available May 1, 2005. However, no telling if the old test will still be available.

I will be taking the old one this Sat. so wish me luck. However, should I fail, how soon do you think study material will be available for the new test?

Tcat Houser has a study guide out that specifically addresses the new Network+ revisions. only 9 bucks!

I'm confused, I was under the impression that "Promoting, selling, recruiting and student posting are not allowed in the forums", yet everywhere I turn I am seeing Tcat Houser's Books promoted.

Considering that you Mr. glister are just as brilliant if not more so, please give us other options for books to look at...

He asked for material for the new exam. Tcat's stuff is the only material that I am aware of for the new exam. If you know of anything, please fill us in.

I know that you personally should be writing you are an excellent teacher in this arena. I also know that Tamara Dean through Thomson has her third edition out called Network + Guide to Networks -- it's dry reading, especially compared to Tcats -- I think it depends on which route one wants to take, the Dry or the Interesting.
