New Name and Exchange

Hello,

I've just changed the name of our training NT 4.0 Sp4 server from Student1 to Lab. so we can use it in our test lab.
Changed proxy & got access to the net thru' 128K.
But can't get into exchange administrator.
Message is : "The Microsoft Exchange Server computer does not respond" "ID NoS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEM"
I am quite new to NT, obviously I've missed something ??
any help would be appreciated.

Your DS ( message store ) is not opening. Look at your services and see if you can restart it. If not try reinstalling the SP and reboot. I have had that error several times and when I reapply Sp6a it restarts fine.
