This is a puzzle to me-I have new computer that I am setting up to run linux on (no windows drive in it) but the MOBO has a driver disk that has USB drivers I need to install>but its windows format only. I have d/l the .exe file frm the MOBO site, it will fit on a floppy. How can i load it into my new box without installing a windows hard drive ? I appreciate any ideas, and sorry if this should be a linux forum post. tony

Surely you don't need Windows USB drivers for Linux installation?

Yeah, thanks wolluf I understand now what it means. I didnt when I started this thread. After 5-6hrs of research into USB,mobos, windows and linux it became a little clearer.Documentation with new mobo doesnt make that clear to computer-building newbies haha. thanks for the reply too
