New MiCollab pc client missing ability to disable call window/popup

In the olden style MiCollab Client used to be able to disable Popups/call window for your buttons on your phone.
With the new MiCollab pc client, this feature no longer exists.
Meaning if you have multiple multicalls on your phone, these calls will generate a Show Call Window/Popup even if they are set to No Ring.
Anyone come across this ?
Why is it that when we move to a new product version, we always miss some features that we used to have.

we put off deploying the 'new' client for as long as we could because of the vast range of features that were removed .
I still cant understand the new clients lack of functionality compared to the old one .
I don't think the designers care or have used it in a real environment.

perhaps by version 10 it will be back where it was at 7.3
