Can I email a mobile device letting the user know there is a new voice mail message waiting for them without using a desktop messaging license? I would like this on a normal voice mail box. Some of my users would like this feature but I don't want to burn my licenses.

In the CS1000/Meridian 1 CallPilot you can. You can setup the Remote Text Notification feature. It doesn't require desktop licenses.
