New meeting request button is not visible

A customer is using outlook 2003. The "new meeting request" button is not visible and the "new meeting request" menu item is not available in the calendar-right-click menu.

Any help is appreciated...

Have you tried clicking on "new" in the menu bar at the top of the calendar screen?
