Ive read a few posts regarding this, but they all seem to pertain to IDE. Moving from a Intel I815 chipset with onboad SCSI to a SIS645 mboard with and Adaptec 29160 SCSI card. Can it be done WITHOUT reinstalling? IS there any hope to this?

Thanks
btw Great site

Although you can certainly attempt to do this, you'll probably spend a lot more time hunting down little inconsistencies, and you'd be much better off in the long run to do a re-install.

Thank you, YES I KNEW , but so much work ahead of me now, thought there might be an easier way, hoping anyways.

Thanks
