New Mail Message Font Outlook 2002

When I begin a new mail message, my font is very large however when the recipient receives the email, the font is what it should be. How can I change this? For example, it shows that I have Book Antiqua at 10 but it looks like the font size is a 20....I checked under tools>options>mail format and changed it a few times but it doesn't matter.

Any suggestions would help...
