I have enabled the "Prompt when new mail arrives" option. However, there is still no indication when new mail arrives in the mailbox. This user uses only the Domino Web Access and not Lotus notes client.
The prompt for new mail option only works in the Notes client. If a notification is needed without the Notes client, I would suggest using the free Notes Minder software.

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.
Um, you give the ID file location and server name during the install process, then the app authenticates and you can access your mail with it.
No calendaring, just mail. With attachments though.
