New mail desktop alert for other folders then inbox 2003

Just wondering if there is a setting or an addin that would allow me to setup "new mail desktop alerts" for folders besides the inbox..

my problem is that I have rules filtering my new mail to other folders besides the inbox so when I get new email in these folders the desktop alert never shows up because the inbox is bypassed...

any help is greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem, but it's not really much of a problem to me.

But, if you want those reminders, you can set them up in rules. Otherwise, there's no option to fix that (at least in Outlook 2003).

yeah the alerts aren't the same.. but I'll see if I like it or not...
