For those of you who don't use VisualCafe, this doesn't really apply to you. I posted this as a FAQ in the VisualCafe forum, but I know many of you who might use VCafe don't use the VCafe forum so I thought I'd let you know.

One of my recent projects has been helping to construct an object heirarchy from a database. Just about every table becomes a class, and just about every column in a table becomes a variable in that class.

I was creating many private variables, and then creating twice as many public get and set methods so that the variables would be editable and retrievable. I thought it was a pain to write so many methods, so I did what programmers do- I wrote a program (macro) to make my life easier. I thought this macro might make others' lives easier, so I'm posting it. To view the macro, just go to the "Symantec: VisualCafe" forum (if it's not on your threadminder, just click on my profile- there's a link in there underneath all my info in the "Programmers" section) and read my FAQ. Feel free to use this code in any way you'd like to.
Liam Morley
lmorley@wpi.edu
<a href=] :: imotic :: website :: [
"light the deep, and bring silence to the world.
