New K7VZA and 1.333 athlon wont start

I just recently bought a new mobo and proc. and 128 mb of ram and i installed it along with a new 300 watt power supply. It will start , accecc the hard drive and turn on but after a few moments the hard drive winds down and the fan begins ro make a ugly high pitched noise. Thanks in advance and i hope one of you has the solution.

Remove all cards except video and disconnect all drives including the floppy. If that works Just start adding thing a little at a time.
If it does not then more than likely one of the remain parts is causing problems. This is usually a jumper setting on the motherbrd at this point. Hope this getts you going in the right direction
