Is there an option or a way when a section within sharepoint is updated that it will automatically post something to the home page so all users who hit the home page will see what sections have been updated?
I know their is the available alert feature which will send an e-mail when something has been, added, removed, changed etc.
When my users logon in the morning IE opens up to our intranet home page and it would be nice to have on that page what sections have been modified with new content. We have utilized the e-mail alerts in the past and users just filtered them out of their inbox.
Any info is appreciated.
