I have searched the Avaya website with no luck so far for info on the newly released IP Office "Partner edition" and the new 1400 type tel sets....
I'm looking for a link that will get me to a brochure that will describe the product so I may present it to potential customers or end users.
I know that 90% of the features are the same as the 8.0 but a little info on the embedded voice mail and tel sets would be nice.
Thanks in advance..

Many thanks to all for your response..

Forget the Partner series, IP Office is the same price....

Why consider the Partner series if you are using the 14xx sets? You are doing a disservice to the customer by doing so. They may not need any IP extensions, but I am sure they could benefit from SIP trunks, and not to have to buy any software when they do want IP phones.

Wow. I tried that. I sell Partner's to small business becasue the 18D's are really inexpensive from my refurbisher. I thought I'd inquire about becoming a "real dealer". Outside of the fact that I would probably sell about 1 system a month, I was pretty much made to feel like the lowest form of scum.

It's not going to stop me from selling ACS systems and I can beat a 500v2 on price...never mind the 10% savings for the new boxes. I do like the concept of digital and future growth, but I'm never going to be able to spend $100K on key system purchases since I have not in the last nearly 30 years.

Yeah, that SIP into the system is a real plus, especially when the cable company is offering $25/month unlimited LD and a directory listing....

Ran into a similar problem with Avaya.... Installed the ACS after going to avaya training under the Partner Managed program. After installing a dozen or more systems in the past 2 years, they changed the rules a few months back, requiring to be an authorized business partner to purchase and install. Now our Avaya vendor can't sell to us. After working with the regional rep from Avaya to try to become a business partner, they are being very selective on what companies are business partners (including not bringing in competition in many areas to protect their current partners). Since they've locked down the knowlegebase to authorized business partners, it makes it much more difficult to find information. I've spoken to multiple contacts at Avaya, all to point back to the regional rep, who has been the biggest road block of all.
