I had a problem where one PC wouldn't connect to the internet (I use a router). I had someone come over and he could only fix this by removing Norton he products fixes Internet Security 2007. I had the same problem occur on reinstalling this, as well as when I tried to install Internet Security suites 2007 by McAfee and Norton and Norton antivrus 2007. I did not have this problem with installin the same software on other PCs on my network. I called my ISP and Norton, which were both of no help. I called Belkin who manufactures my router and found that installin Norton changed the IP address for the PC. The technical support nperson at Belkin said he could help me with this, but that it would likely casue problems with other PCs on the network. Uninstalling the products fixes the situation. I don't have this problem installin the Grisoft antivirus program or using the Windows XP firewall. I had been using Norton products for eyars without any problem before this happened. Any advice???? Thanks.
