New Installation with error 2

Hi guys,

Unboxed a new chassis on release 7.0.5 and upgrade it right away to 8.0.18.

Now Manager show "No Essential Edition or Upgrade License present", even though the essential is pasted.

And Monitor app show: ERR: IPOFFICE IS UNUSABLE UNTIL SOFTWARE OR ESSENTIAL LICENCE IS ADDED.

This isn't the license Dormant issue.

What should I do ?

I think what you should do is regenerate the SD Card
Start your system
make a call
and then upgrade to release 8

with this procedure the system will generate an Essential Virtual License and you will be able to upgrade without a license.

I have the Essential license pasted and valid on the config.

it happened me once, even the telsets connected says NO LICENSE

i ended up regenerating the SD card with the 7.0 and begin the process again.

Load the latest 7.0 firmware into the IPO, make a call to voicemail. then upgrde t 8.xx (don't recreate the card otherwise the virtual edition licence wont be created.
