New Install of Samba on AIX V5.3

I have never installed Samba before and am having trouble. I downloaded the opt-samba-base.tar and the opt-samba-3.0.26a-AIX5 file as well and while it appears they both isntalled it never created the /etc/samba opr /usr/local/samba directories - just the /opt/pware/samba directory. I must be missing something - Can anyone help?

I only ever compiled from source or installed the packages from Bullfreeware.
Was yours an AIX bff package?

Try /opt/samba/lib/smb.conf
