Please bear with me as I try to explain what I'm trying to accomplish…

We have a new location with a forwarded number. I have forwarded the number to a DID at our main location so that I can identify when calls come in on this line.

I would like to be able to play a different set of recordings and display the call to our access center so that they know it is on the different line.

What is the best way to do this? Should I build a new Attendant? Should I make a condition in vmpro that reads the incoming did?

I want the queued and still queued recordings to be different, but I don't remember exactly how to do this…

Thanks!

Easiest way is to just setup a new attendant module for it. Seriously.
Also, make copies of your existing groups, but change the names/extensions. Then you can make copies of the existing queued/still queued functions in vmpro, and just change the recordings there. Point your new attendant module to the correct *new* groups. Pretty simple, really.

I tried that yesterday, but I keep getting the disconnected message…

something is wrong with my setup obviously.

Yep, probably. You could provide your config and maybe some more details, could probably help.

I created a new Attendant with a specific name. Copied all the logic, the q'd still q'd from the existing, working attendant.

Pointed the incoming call route to the new attendant, which should have acted exactly like the existing, but instead givexs me the "this number has been disconnected" message.

If I choose the working attendant as the destination, it's fine...

That's weird...
