Hello

I have started a new job two days ago, and I will have to maintain an app written in powerbuilder 10. Because I have no experience with powerbuilder I looked up which books I could use for reference. On amazon (and also on other sites) I only found books up to powerbuilder 9. Is it usefull for me to buy one of these books? How come I cannot find books on powerbuilder 10 anywhere (or maybe I haven't looked enough)?

There aren't any books specifically for PB10 I'm aware of. The basic application IDE of Powerbuilder hasn't changed much since version 7. You could probably search on Amazon for used books going back to that version or later and find something which should help you.

Hi,

Thanks for you reply and sorry for my late reply...

I have ordered myself a book on Powerbuilder 9 but it hasn't arrived yet. It seems that books on Powerbuilder aren't that popular... I couldn't find any in any bookshops I visited...

You might want to check out Amazon for used books like
"The Definitave Datawindow" by Brooks or one of the 'Advanced Powerbuilder Techniques' books. These are for versions 5-6 but still have valid coding techniques.
